In 2021, LCYtech will increase its use of external water sources and introduce recycled water from the "Kaohsiung City Linhai Recycled Water Plant" to recycle and reuse domestic wastewater in the Kaohsiung area. From 2022, LCYtech will use 288,000 tons of recycled water a year, which is equivalent to saving 1,014,084 people. People use water every day, or 115.2 Universiade swimming pools. In addition, LCYtech has set long-term goals for the use of recycled water and expects to increase the proportion of recycled water used in the manufacturing process to more than 91% by 2030.

The ultimate goal of LCYtech water resources management is net-zero discharge of water resources and 100% recycling and reuse. In terms of wastewater management, process optimization is used to reduce the metal content in raw wastewater so that the discharged water can meet pipe standards. The current main promotion plans are as follows:

1. Increase the proportion of recycled water used.
2. Increase the proportion of recycled water circulation.
3. Improve the drainage circulation rate of the cooling water tower.
